The Fair and our Trackstars

This post is so long over due!  We met some friends at the Washington County fair for a morning of fun!  There was so much to do and we all had a great time.  We let the kids go on a few rides, hang out on some tractors and then we spent the rest of the afternoon in the garden area weirdly.  The kids went on a scavenger hunt and their prize was to pick their own carrot out of the garden to eat.  Seriously, they thought this was the coolest thing ever and all ate all of their healthy snacks.  The mama's enjoyed a beer and the kids some cotton candy and we all called it a day.

Later that evening we met friends up at Westview high school for the local track meet.  The boys got super competitive and really wanted to win their races.  Weston normally doesn't care about things like this... but this time was different.  He ran so hard in his races and placed first in one and second in the other.  It was so fun to see how proud of himself he was.  Win or lose we are always proud of our boys.. but it was nice to have Wes in the spot light for a bit!

Oh you know... just petting an alligator!

Seriously...these things were crazy!

There is something so magical about the colors at the fair.
