The other night Dusty and I had so much fun at the Z-man gala. The organization gives scholarships to portland youth to ensure they get a great education. They are also paired up with a buddy police officer to make sure they are staying on track and to build a better relationship between police officers and high school students.
We had so much fun, it was held at the Governor Hotel.. now called the Sentinel. We stopped for a drink at Jakes before hand.. then went upstairs for cocktail hour. After, there was a fabulous dinner catered by Jake's.. Dusty was stoked about this! The event was Monte Carlo themed so of course there was some gambling after dinner! This was one of the things I was most excited about, We played Craps and Black Jack and we did pretty well at both! Dusty played poker all night and cleaned house!
Once the event died down, we tried to crash a Buell wedding a couple floors down... sadly the wedding was already over :(! Next night out on the town we are finding a dance club!
